Felix the cat.

Here is a clock who is a fun clock if you dont get nightmare about it. Felix the cat clock from 1930. Kit-cat-clock is the name given by the producer. This cat with rolling eyes and wagging tale has infecious smile. Given new battery driven mechanism in the 1980s gave it a new boost. A nice retro clock if you dare.

Clocks.

I put my wall clocks on one wall. Different shapes and colours. 5 pieces. My plan was to put the world time like New York, Tokyo, Paris, under each clock. It was a very cool wall in 5 min. My hubby didnt like it so I took them down again. Here is a clock made by invotis and designed by Wil Van Den Bos.

Arne Jacobsen.

Nice picture of Arne Jacobsen.

Egg.

This is the one chair I remember from I was a child. I want this chair no matter if I turn 60 years old before I get it. Danish designer, Arne Jacobsen designed this beuty in 1958. Not the best photo, but I want the chair in red leather.

Puppy.

Puppy is taking the minimalist in me, on a love affair. I want this one to be Micos partner outside, under my hanging tree. Mico in red and puppy in green. Eerno Aarnio designed this wonder in 2005. Magis is of course the producer. I love the ideƩ of using these two as cool toys and nice things for the eye.

Mico.

I love this chair built for children. Mico from designer El Ultimo Grito in 2007. You can buy it from producer Magis. I want to use this one in my garden as a sculpture under a hanging tree. This one caught my eyes a year ago on a website in Norway. http://www.euklides.no/

RAR from Vitra.

Here is my favorite to put in my future, new bathroom. You can get it from producer Vitra. Famous designer Charles and Ray Eames designed this plastic wonder in 1950. Wow, is all I can say.

I am back. :)

Good to be at vacation, but there is no place like home.

Polder Sofa XL.

Designed by Hella Jongerius in 2005. A nice sofa with buttons on the backside as well. You can get it in dark brown, green, anthracite, cream and my favorite, red. The length of the sofa is 293cm, H78cm, D100cm. You can buy this from producer Vitra. "Polder Sofa XL" was a long time a favorite to put in one of my livingrooms.

Holiday.

We are going on a holiday for a week. I'm looking forward to spending time with my family. ;) See you a week from now. :) :)

Moody.

Contemporary blown glass with chrome finish. Suspended lamp with a modern twist. :) Made by Manuel Guiliani. Not my favorite but an alternative to my style.

My garage.

We are building an extension to our house. We found this garage by meeting up with an excellent architect from a local entrepreneur. Next year it will be finished, I hope. :) We will get drawings from the architect next week. Hope I can post a drawing of the new part of our house soon. It will look great with this garage in front of the new extension. Going to be a funkis house of course. :)

Hang it all.

My small hallway needs a nice piece to lighten up the place. But my husband hate this one, so this one is a no, no. "Hang it all" from Vitra. Designed by world famous designers, Charles and Ray Eames. Nice to have a man who cares how our home look like.

Stool one.

This was the other candidate to run for a permanent place in the kitchen. Same designer, same year but different producer, Magis. Konstantin Grcic in 2005. This chair is 77cm high. Love this one too. Who wouldn't? This one you get in black, white and red.

Miura.

This is one future buy in red or black, to be under my kitchen counter. Probably in red. You can get it in eight different colours. Miura from Plank. The designer is Konstantin Grcic from 2005. I want two of them. This is the one furniture my husband and I can agree on.

This is the beginning.

I will try to stay true to my blog's name, designgeek. My posts will mainly be about interior design, gadgets and nice stuff I find cool. I hope this will be the beginning of a nice blog. :)
